In VS Code, in an empty .lys file: type lesson, press Ctrl+Space and pick lesson-07-lyrics.

A lyrics track sings a part: one syllable per note, sleep- ing joins a word, | keeps in step with the bars. Each row goes under the staff.

The lesson as it opens: the red rings mark where a step happens.

Remove lyrics fr from the score · change the last English bar to Ding, dang, dong, ding! | — rest the mouse on the squiggle.
